How should I be using the ballet lessons?
Here is an example of a training schedule:
Monday- Absolute Beginner Lesson 1
Tuesday- Absolute Beginner 1 Combination-Only
Wednesday- Break
Thursday- Absolute Beginner 1 Combination-Only
Friday- Break
Saturday- Absolute Beginner 1 Combination-Only
Sunday- Break
Everyone is unique so go at the speed you are comfortable with. I recommend sticking to one lesson per week and repeating the lesson (using combination-only videos) 2-3+ times before moving on to the next lesson.

In what order should I take the lessons?
Absolute Beginner (no ballet experience)
Beginner (1 year of ballet experience)
Beginner Intermediate (1.5+ years of ballet experience)

Do I need a ballet barre or ballet slippers?
A barre does make things easier. Here is my Amazon barre recommendation. Alternatively, you can use a stable chair, counter, or wall!
Ballet slippers are helpful for pirouettes and other turns. I would recomend them for center work. Socks work fine for most barre work!

What should I do when I have completed all the lessons in all series?
I would highly recommend seeking out in-person classes for personal feedback. If that is not an option, there are many online classes where you can get live feedback. Unfortunately, I do not have a specific teacher to recommend.

Can adults go on pointe?
Absolutely. Please do not try to do this online and instead seek out an in-person teacher you trust!
I know it’s tempting to rush this process- but try your best to be patient. You will get there!

Is it too late to start ballet?
It’s never too late to start dancing!
